About Jamie

Jamie has been working with children of all ages as an actress, teacher, and entertainer for the past ten years. She has taught numerous music and movement classes in Miami, Florida and at Citibabes and Sutton Place Synagogue in New York City. Before moving to New York, Jamie studied theatre at the University of Texas at Austin and also taught music at various summer camps. Jamie has also performed with many children’s theatres, most recently with Literally Alive Children’s Theatre in the starring role of “The Velveteen Rabbit” and in their production of “The Little Mermaid.” Currently, Jamie is the music teacher at Kaplan Nursery School on the Upper East Side for two to five year olds and is loving every moment of it!
